"The Faust Hotel bar is incredible. The bar is beautiful and the service is impeccable. Jericho is a wonderful bartender with unparalleled attention to detail. He always remembers your drink order. The manager Vincent acknowledges everyone. He walks around and talks to everyone and makes you feel like a welcome friend. I adore him! "Beautiful landmark building, stunningly restored. Rooms are tastefully decorated, as is the entire property. Food is amazing, would be hard pressed to find a better meal in any major city or foodie location. Bar fun and lively, great outdoor space too. Convenient access from San Antonio or Austin, and Uber/Lyft good way to get there and around inexpensively, if do not want a car rental. Walkable town, some good running and hiking/walking if that is your thing, cute shops."
